Why We Charge More Than Rover Sitters or Big Daycares — And Why I Believe Your Dog is Worth It

I know our prices aren’t the lowest.
If you’ve compared us to a hobby sitter on Rover or a big, traditional daycare, you’ve probably noticed we cost more.

That’s not by accident. It’s by design.

I started this business because I wanted a place where dogs are cared for the way I would want my own dog cared for — with safety, compassion, and respect at the absolute highest level. That means doing things differently, even when it costs more.

Here’s what’s behind our rates, from my heart to yours:

1. We’re Bonded & Insured

This isn’t just paperwork — it’s peace of mind. If anything unexpected ever happened, you’d be protected. Many lower-cost sitters can’t offer that safety net, and to me, operating as a professional this is a non-negotiable cost I wont Sacrifice.

2. We Pay Our Staff Livable Wages

I believe people who care for your pets should be cared for, too.
Our NEW team members earn on average $3/hour more than most pay in our industry and we offer YEARLY cost of Living Increases ON TOP of any Raises, PTO or Bonuses Earned. This means our can afford to stay with us long-term, learn your dog’s quirks, and give them consistent, loving attention.

3. Low Dog-to-Human Ratio

Your dog isn’t just another Muzzle in the crowd here.
While Traditional daycares run Groups of 15-20 dogs Per Human (On average) Our groups Are a Max of 5 dogs Per Human. This allows us the ability to not only offer the Pickup and Drop off services included in our Daycamp BUT the ability to provide each dog with individualized attention and offer more fulfilling enrichment services to your dogs.

4. Pickup & Drop-Off Are Included

We know life is busy. Our day camp rates include door-to-door service, so you don’t have to stress about squeezing in extra trips. It’s all part of making your dog’s day — and yours — easier.

5. Staff Training That Never Stops

Every single member of our team is trained and certified in:

  • Pet First Aid & CPR

  • Dog Body Language & Behavior

  • Fear-Free Pet Handling

  • Dog Bite Prevention

And when new certifications become available, we keep learning. This isn’t just a job for us — it’s a profession we take seriously.

6. Enrichment That Goes Beyond Playtime

We don’t just “watch” your dog. We give them a day full of activities that challenge their mind, build their confidence, and let them come home tired, happy, and balanced.

From My Heart to Yours

If you’re looking for the cheapest option, we aren’t it. And that's OK!

But if you’re looking for the most enriching, most professional care you can give your dog, I truly believe we’re worth every penny.

Because to us, your dog isn’t just a client. They’re family.
