$210.00 ~ 6-Week CGC Prep Class & Testing

This structured 6-week course is designed to prepare your dog to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. The class meets once per week for six consecutive weeks and focuses on the key behaviors required by the American Kennel Club.

✅ Dogs Must Demonstrate the Following Skills Without useing treats or Lures:

  1. Accepting a friendly stranger
  2. Sitting politely for petting
  3. Appearance and grooming
  4. Out for a walk
  5. Walking through a crowd
  6. Sit and down on cue / Staying in place
  7. Coming when called
  8. Reaction to another dog
  9. Reaction to distractions
  10. Supervised separation

Upon successful completion of the test, clients can submit their results directly to the AKC to receive their official CGC certificate or title.

📌 Prerequisites:

Dogs must have completed Intermediate Obedience with Lake Country K9 to 5 or a comparable class/program with another trainer. Exceptions may be made at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
