Basics 2~ Intermediate Obedience

Group Class Information

These classes are designed for our trainers to TEACH YOU to train your dog.

Our trainers do not train your dog for you—instead, each class includes both lecture and demonstration, followed by dedicated hands-on practice time where you’ll work through each exercise with your dog under the guidance of your instructor.

To ensure every student gets personalized support, all classes are kept small—no more than 4 dogs per class.

  • • Intermediate Obedience is Available ONLY to students who have graduated Basics 1 or equivelent with another trainer.
  • •Dogs Must wear a flat collar or harness and be on a 4- or 6-foot leash.
  • • A maximum of 2 people per dog allowed to support spacing and session flow.
  • • Well-behaved children are welcome to participate. Disruptive behavior WILL result in being asked to leave class.
  • • Please bring 100–200 pea-sized treats. We use food rewards extensively during training sessions.
  • • Potty your dog before entering the building; a poop bag station is provided for your convenience.
  • • Classes increase in difficulty each week. At-home practice between classes is essential for success.

Basics 2 (Intermediate) Group Class

5-Week Course

Classes meet once per week for 5 weeks on the same day and time.
Each session lasts 40 minutes.

Who Can Join?

  • This course is Designed for Dogs who have graduated from our Basics 1 Course or equivalent with another trainer.

  • If you have taken an equivalent class with a different trainer; Please reach out to discuss sign up

What We Cover

  • Sit (6 different sits)

  • Lay down / Stay (including 360° stays and stays from 20 ft away)

  • Adding distance, distraction, and duration to all cues

  • Come when called from 20 ft with other dogs nearby

  • Drop it

  • Advanced Loose Leash Waking (Calm loose leash walking, in public past dogs and people without pulling or Lure)

  • We Also teach you to start Fading out treats without loosing your results

All dogs must have proof of rabies vaccination and a full course of puppy shots to participate.

All Refunds Must be requested PRIOR to the date of the first class. Once the first class date has come and gone no Refunds Will be made. No Exceptions.
