Dog Walking FAQS

  • Monday- Friday 9:30 am -3:30 pm

  • We walk 8:00am-12:00pm On Saturdays

    Closed on Sundays

    We are Closed for the Following Holidays:

    • New years day

    • Memorial Day

    • 4th of July

    • Labor Day

    • Thanksgiving

    • Christmas Day

  • We walk year-round in every type of weather, including rain, snow and summer heat.

    However, your dog’s safety is our # 1 priority so we use our judgement and experience to ensure the comfort and health of your dog in the event of extreme cold or heat or air quality warnings.

  • NO. We do not accept schedule requests via text, phone call or email

    The reason we use scheduling software is first and for most for your convenience (book anywhere anytime) and secondly so there are no Mix ups. Its very easy to put down a wrong date or time, forget to copy the request to the schedule or even completely miss an email or text message when using a paper scheduling system; further having a scheduling software allows you to go back and go through your requested appointments to make sure everything is scheduled correctly and or make changes as needed!

  • At this time we are only accepting New Clients for Group Walk Services. We have no more availability on our schedules to accept new private walk clients. Thank you for your understanding.

  • We offer Pre-Determined arrival windows for our services.

    Our Clients Choose their time block:

    • 9:00 am-11:00 am,

    • 10:30 am-1:30 pm,

    • 1:30 pm -3:30 pm

    We cannot guarantee a specific arrival time, however

    We guarantee we’ll show up during your requested window Or the Walk is On us!

  • We don't Disqualify dogs from group services Until we have completed BOTH an In person Initial Consult AND a Free trial Walk with your dog. (Booked Separately)

    Once a dog Passes the free trial Walk We will train them to walk nicely with the group so pulling/bad leash manners will not automatically disqualify your dog

  • We absolutely are! Our Business Is Insured and Our Employees Bonded through PCI.

    We are a full time, Reliable, Dependable and highly professional Dog walking business that takes our reputation very seriously.

  • Not Only Do we Bond our Employees; Each Employee is Screened heavily Prior to employment. Each Candidate Must be 18 years or older, Pass a 5 year State and Federal Back Ground Check in order to be considered. Further Once they are hired on they Have to complete two weeks of on the job training where they shadow our owner or manager, 2 weeks where we shadow them and they have to complete our online training, Pet first aid and cpr, and dog bite prevention within the first 30 days of employment. Additional online certifications are also due to be Completed within their first 90 days! All of this is required because we do not believe this job is as easy as picking up a leash and going!

    As you see we have a rigorous process for employment aimed at providing the best experience possible for our clients.

  • We Use Positive Reinforcement Methods (TREAT TRAINING)‍ ‍TO TEACH YOU HOW TO TEACH YOUR DOG IN OUR GROUP CLASSES

    OUR TRAINERS DO NOT TEACH YOUR DOG FOR YOU. GROUP Classes REQUIRE Your PARTICIPATION DURING, AND AT HOME BETWEEN CLASSES In order to see progress in training.

    We do not use any methods that require force or fear. We also do not allow clients to use ecollars , prong or choke collars during our classes.

    • Catch Canine Trainers- Cerified Dog trainer.

    • AKC- CGC, TRICK DOG & FIT DOG CERTIFIED EVALUATOR

    • CGC & TRICK DOG TITLES

    • Penn Foster- Training Instructor Certification

    • Currently Enrolled IN Method K9s Level 1 training Cert.

    • Fear Free Pet Professional Certification

    • Dog bite Prevention Certification

    • Pet first aid and CPR Certified

    1. A Copy of Up to date vaccines If you did not upload them during sign up.

    2. Your dog Must be on a flat collar or harness - NO Choke/prong or shock collars will be allowed.

    3. 4 or 6 ft leash - NO FLEXI LEASHES

    4. Treats ! High Value and Lots of them! think 200-500 pea sized pieces.

      1. WE DO NOT SUPPLY TREATS. & THEY ARE NON OPTIONAL FOR BASICS 1. IF YOU FORGET OR REFUSE TO BRING THEM YOU WILL LIKELY FIND OUR TRAINING METHODS WILL BE HARD FOR YOU TO MASTER.

  • We require Clients to Pay at signup for training classes.

    We accept Payment Via Debit/ Credit Card at Sign-up though our website.

    Alternatively You May call and set up a time to sign up in person. In person Payments accepted are Credit/Debit card or Cash

    We do Not accept Checks. Cash app or Venmo.

  • Payment Policy:

    Full Payment is Due at the time of booking.

    CANCELLATION /REFUND POLICY:

    1. All Cancellations Must be Received a Minimum of 7 days prior to the first class in order to receive a Full refund.

    2. 50% refund will be given to Refund Requests for Cancellations Received BEFORE Week 2 of training.

    3. No refund Will Be given regardless of reason for cancellation once a client has completed week 2 of training.

    NO SHOW POLICY:

    Clients Who No Show For any training at any Point During their training Loose that Session. We do NOT Offer Individual Make ups.

    Retake Policy:

    Clients May retake any Class 1 time free Of charge if they attend all 5 classes and Fail to graduate on week 6

    Additional Fees will Apply for additional Retakes.

Billing FAQS

    • All Cancellations Received with less than 12 hours notice will be billed at full rate

    Cancellation Policies are NON-Negotiable as we pay our walkers for their Anticipated daily schedule Regardless of last-minute Cancellations.

  • Yes; IF we have availability with that said we do Charge a Late Booking fee of $21.00 per occurrence for requests made with less than 24 hours notice

  • We require a Credit or Debit Card to be added to your Pet Pocketbook Account and be kept on file in order to Book and Pay for all services.

    Clients May Choose to leave Cash

    • Cash Payments are due At the time of or in advance of Services. (reflected as an account credit)

    • A Card on file will still be required in order to request services.

      • Card Billing Failure will Result in Immediate termination of services until balance is paid in full.

    We DO NOT Accept: Personal Checks, Money Orders, Paypal, Venmo, zelle, cash app or any other 3rd party payment service.

  • We use Pet PocketBook to Track and Invoice all our services.

    Your walks Are NOT invoiced Unless Completed! (Post Pay Invoicing)

    Our Default Billing Cycle is the 1st and 15th of every month

    • (Cycle 1: Completed walks are invoiced for December 1- December 14th Billed to Card on File on December 15th

    • Cycle 2: Completed walks are invoiced for December 15- December 31st Billed to Card on File on January 1st)

    However Clients Have the option to Choose daily, weekly or every other monday billing if any of those cycles work better for their budgets.

    Card Billing Failure will Result in Immediate termination of services until balance is paid in full.

  • Payment is Due in full at the time of Sign-up for each class you wish to enroll in.

    Gift Certificates and Packages may also be purchased in advance of Signup or to gift to friends and family

  • We Confirm our Schedule Month at a time.

    We accept requests, as far as 4 months in advance and up to 6am same day (subject to our Availability)
