Our trainers are Certified dog Trainers through Catch Canine Trainers Academy and AKC Certified CGC, Trick Dog and Fit Dog 1 Evaluators.
We Use Positive Reinforcement and Follow Lima Protocols for all our training Classes. (Cookies & Calm)
How do I sign my dog up for training classes or Workshops?

Signup is available Directly On Each Service Page.
Click the Blue Sign up Button, Select the Class or Workshop you wish to join, (First Class date is the class Listed on the selector)
Fill out the Information form
Pay for the class.
You will receive an Email & Text message After Sign-up Containing all Following Class dates & important information.

How Far In advance should I sign up for classes?

we suggest a Minimum of 2 weeks prior to the listed start date.
Classes with No Signups 7 days prior to the listed start date are Subject to be cancelled
What do I need to bring to class?

A Copy of Up to date vaccines If you did not upload them during sign up.
Your dog Must be on a flat collar or harness - NO Choke/prong or shock collars will be allowed.
4 or 6 ft leash - NO FLEXI LEASHES
Treats ! High Value and Lots of them! think 200-500 pea sized pieces.
SMALL SOFT TREATS (NOT BISCUITS) We highly Suggest Freeze dried treats or kibble. Stella & Chewys Meal Toppers, Steward Freeze dried treats or Freeze dried treats from Glens Market are class favorites.
WE DO NOT SUPPLY TREATS. & THEY ARE NON OPTIONAL FOR BASICS 1. IF YOU FORGET OR REFUSE TO BRING THEM YOU WILL LIKELY FIND OUR TRAINING METHODS WILL BE HARD FOR YOU TO MASTER.

How Is your Day Camp Different From Traditional Daycare?

Our Day Camp program is a Half day Program designed around small, structured social groups rather than large, open-play daycare environments.
Dogs spend much of the day engaged in supervised walks, enrichment activities, and guided social interaction led by trained handlers instead of remaining in a facility for extended periods of time.
Further, our Day Camp is built on small, consistent groups—not rotating drop-in daycare. We require Each Dog to attend at least two days per week, which helps dogs build familiarity with their handlers, routine, and group, leading to calmer, more stable interactions.
It also allows them to fully benefit from enrichment, training, and socialization while helping us maintain balanced, consistent group dynamics.
This approach allows us to provide a calmer, more structured experience that focuses on enrichment, exercise, and positive social development.
Why Cant Clients Pickup & Drop off their dogs?

Our Day Camp program operates differently than a traditional daycare facility. To keep our groups focused on enrichment and structured outings, we do not staff a reception desk for client drop-offs or pick-ups.
Instead, our team handles transportation as part of the program. This approach allows us to keep staffing focused on the dogs rather than front-desk coverage, which helps keep the program efficient and costs reasonable for clients.
It also minimizes disruptions to the group. Unscheduled arrivals and departures can interrupt structured activities and the flow of the day, which is important for maintaining calm, stable social groups.
Finally, our dogs spend much of the day out on walks, adventures, and enrichment activities rather than remaining at the facility.
Coordinated transportation ensures dogs can fully participate in the day’s activities without needing to return for owner pick-ups or drop-offs.
This system allows our team to stay focused on what matters most — providing safe, structured, and engaging days for the dogs in our care.

My Dog Was Dismissed from another Daycare; Can we still sign - up for a trial Day?

Yes! And the reasoning may surprise you-
Our staff members at Lake country K9 to 5 Have a deep understanding of Dogs and dog behavior and we realize that Dogs may be dismissed from other daycare facilities for a variety of reasons, and that doesn’t automatically mean they aren’t a good fit for a group environment.
Which is why we always conduct our own evaluation before making any decisions.
In many cases, dogs are dismissed for behaviors like excessive barking, rough play, or simply not enjoying themselves.
Often, the reality is these issues come down to the environment rather than the dog. Some facilities have large groups (10 or more dogs in a group), mixed sizes and temperaments, high noise levels, or all-day play—settings; ALL OF WHICH can be a driver for the types of behaviors that often get dogs dismissed from other facilities.
Our approach is different. We focus on creating a calm, structured, and engaging environment by:
Keeping groups small (ALWAYS 5 or fewer dogs in each Group)
Grouping dogs by similar size and play style
Limiting sessions to 4 hours to avoid overstimulation
Emphasizing enrichment activities & walks to reduce stress and minimize barking
Because of this, we’re often able to accommodate dogs who may not have thrived in a traditional daycare setting.
