We adore dogs. To us, there is nothing more enjoyable than getting to spend time with each of our dog friends. We are passionate about dogs and the care they receive. We pride ourselves on providing five-star service to the dogs and their owners. It's a privilege to walk and get to know so many awesome dogs, and we take that responsibility very seriously. Open Positions:
Handler: Weekdays (6 hours per shift 1-5 shifts per week )
8:00 am-2:00 pm
All of our staff are employees (W-2), not independent contractors (10-99)

Job description for Dog Handlers:
The Dog Handler Attendant is responsible for the safety, supervision, and care of dogs in our facility. This role ensures dogs are exercised, mentally stimulated, and monitored in a clean, secure, and enriching environment. Attendants Must have the Ability to work in Indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and in potentially Loud, high-energy environment with potential exposure to pet dander, fur, and cleaning chemicals
You Must Be Comfortable BOTH Walking and Driving in Rain AND SNOW
All our Clients use Lockboxes or Garage codes. All Located in our App.
All dogs must be leashed during their walks. NO EXCEPTIONS

Dog handlers can earn a gross pay of anything between $84.00 and $3,000.00 Per month
(These numbers assume you work a full 6 hours each shift)
(starting wage of $14.00-$17.00 per hour Before tips and mileage)
we pay $0.65 per mile (avg 30 miles per shift)
Final Pay is dependent on how many shifts you work in a month.
We pay Semi Monthly; On the 7th & 22nd of each month

Must be 18 years or older
Must have a drivers license and CLEAN driving record.
Must have a smart phone with unlimited data and texts
Must be able to use critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Must be willing to make a commitment to work at least 6 months for the company
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
You Must be Comfortable with dogs of all Sizes and Breeds!
You must be able to be punctual and reliable. Show up to all shifts scheduled (with the exception of illness or injury of course)
You Must be a Self starter
Excellent time management skills are a Must!
We expect our walkers to complete TWO 20 minute walks per hour. (Our Current Routes are Long time Clients and this expectation is achievable for anyone with excellent time management skills)
You must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Must be in physical condition to walk up to 6 dogs (of Varying sizes and temperaments) per Shift.
Must be able to work in varying weather conditions.
Loves dogs - Adores them!
Organized- Ability to effectively manage time and workload effectively.
Self reliant- Dog Walkers work alone and need to be able to depend on their own skills/ judgment.
Strong work ethic- Be at work on time, meet deadlines, give your best.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A detail-oriented person who can follow directions without modification is required.

Supervise dogs in group play and individual sessions, ensuring safe, positive interactions
Monitor for signs of illness, stress, or aggressive behavior and report concerns
Maintain cleanliness of all play areas, kennels, and equipment
Handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients during drop-off and pick-up
Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and dog escapes
Assist with training, or other tasks as needed
Walk and play with dogs, from tiny to XL.
Enforce basic obedience commands and proper leash walking behaviors.
Feed and refresh water when requested
Clean up any pet messes and properly dispose of dog poop.
Observe pets' attitude/behavior, notice unusual changes that could indicate illness/injury.
Read and Follow ALL CLIENT NOTES AS WRITTEN.
Administer first aid and/or CPR if needed/Transport pet to a veterinarian
Check in and out of your visits using our phone app and Take pictures of the dogs using your phone.
Maintain security of clients home by locking doors, alternating blinds and lights, etc.

You do not need to have previous experience as a dog walker However a General knowledge of dog breeds, behavior/health, and Leash training knowledge is helpful as would be Experience interacting with customers in a professional setting.
Preference will be given to those with past experience in Animal Related fields (Doggy Daycares, kennels, Human Societies, Pet sitting or other dog-walking companies)
Dog trainers Previous Experience is HIGHLY Preferred.
