At Lake Country K9 to 5, we believe boarding should feel less like a kennel and more like a comfortable home away from home.

Our lodging program features just 10 private kennel suites, each approximately 8' × 4', thoughtfully designed with comfortable furnishings and homelike touches to help your dog settle in and relax.

Dogs can hear the activity around them, but cannot see other dogs from their private suite, helping reduce visual stimulation and create a quieter environment.

Late Pickup: Dogs not picked up by 6:30 PM will be booked into an additional night of boarding. A $52.50 late-pickup fee applies in addition to the additional night's boarding charge.

What Your Dog's Stay Looks Like

Boarding isn't simply overnight confinement. During the day, your dog gets opportunities for activity, enrichment, socialization, and rest before returning to their private suite.

Morning

Dogs begin their day with care, breakfast if provided, and preparation for daytime activities.

Daytime

Boarding guests participate in structured daycare activities, enrichment, socialization, and supervised downtime.

Evening

Dogs return to their private suites for dinner, settling, individual attention, and a quieter evening routine.

Overnight

Your dog rests comfortably in their private suite with staff onsite overnight.

We intentionally limit our lodging program to just 10 suites. This allows us to provide a quieter experience and maintain a high level of individual attention.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Consistent arrival and departure windows allow our team to stay focused on the dogs and keep the facility calm.

DROP-OFF 6:30–8:00 AM or 3:00pm-6:00pm

PICK-UP 3:00–6:00 PM

Monday–Saturday. Our lobby is closed from approximately 8:30 AM–2:30 PM so boarding guests can fully participate in daytime activities and our grooming operations can function without disruption.

No boarding or daycare drop-offs or pick-ups are accepted during the daytime closure.

Booking Policies

Pre-Booking Through PetPocketbook Is Required

All boarding reservations must be made through our PetPocketbook software. We do not accept phone, text, email, or walk-in reservations.

Card on File Required

A card must remain on file to confirm your reservation and pay the reservation fee. Remaining balances may be paid by Venmo, card, or cash.

Reservation Fee

A reservation fee equal to 50% of your dog's stay is due when your booking is confirmed.

Cancellation Policy

Reservation fees are non-refundable when less than 10 days' notice is provided for cancellation.

Late Pick-Up Policy

Dogs not picked up by 6:30 PM will be booked into an additional night of boarding and the applicable late pickup fee will be charged.

Health & Safety Standards

Dogs must be 12 weeks of age or older.
All dogs must have age-appropriate vaccinations, including DHPP, Lepto, and Rabies.
Bordetella is highly recommended and must be administered at least 2 weeks prior to your dog's stay.
Puppies must be current on flea and tick prevention and have veterinary documentation confirming they have been dewormed.
All dogs must be free of parasites and illness.
Dogs displaying behavior that creates a significant safety concern may be declined at our trainers' discretion.
