Our K9 Skills Workshop: Crate Training Foundations is a one-hour, hands-on class designed to teach you and your dog a series of engaging crate games that build confidence, impulse control, and a positive association with the crate. Whether you're starting with a new puppy or working with an older dog who isn't comfortable in a crate, these exercises will help make crate training easier and less stressful.
During this workshop, you'll learn how to:
Build a positive emotional connection to the crate.
Encourage your dog to enter the crate willingly.
Teach your dog to remain calm and relaxed inside the crate.
Develop patience and impulse control.
Create a strong foundation for easier crate training at home.
Crate games are about much more than simply teaching your dog to stay in a crate—they help improve focus, self-control, and confidence, making them a valuable training tool for everyday life.
